We hiked to The Wave! It is an amazing sandstone rock formation located on the very Northern edge of Arizona on the slopes of the Coyote Buttes in the Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness.

With the growth of social media, this natural wonder has become well known amongst hikers, photographers and even social media influencers for its colorful and unique shapes.

This winter, we went on four California adventures with our friend and dog trainer, Destination Dog Training! Andrew, owner, of DDT, introduced us to and gave us our first lessons in obedience training! He is very much responsible for us being the fabulous specimens you see before you!

We were hired for our very first gig as "Booth Dogs" at SuperZoo 2018 for Primalvore, makers of Organic Bone Broth For Dogs. SuperZoo is the most-attended pet industry trade show in North America, and is an annual gathering place for the entire industry to connect, learn and do business.

Visiting our parents’ alma mater, The University of Kansas, has been on our bucket list for many years. This Spring, we finally had a chance to take a tour of the campus!

We hit the adventure trail this weekend! We made our first trip to @MontezumaNPS. That’s #MontezumaCastle directly behind and above us, a five-story 20 room dwelling.

Who knew hosting out of town company could be so much fun, and so exhausting! We’re currently in recovery mode after a fully packed few days spent with our family.

Nothing like a little get away to the beach over the holidays! Although we wish the ocean was a little closer, it makes for a fun road trip!

For the Thanksgiving 2017 long weekend, we decided to #OptOutside and go on outdoor adventures three days in a row! We had a great time hiking the White Tank Mountains, kayaking the Salt River & exploring the Wave Cave, all locations only an hour's drive from our home.

It was our second 4 Peak Challenge, and we rocked it! The goal is to the hike to the top of four mountains in our city of Peoria, AZ in one day. From the start line to the finish line, including all the steps in between the mountains, we hiked 13 miles! Mommy wishes she had attached a pedometer to Jax, because the step count would have been off the charts!

We may not really experience Fall here in the desert, but just a couple hours North in Flagstaff, the leaves change, the temperatures drop and it even smells like Fall!

Any Breaking Bad fans out there? If so, you’re going to love this adventure!

On our way home from Kansas City, we spent the night in Albuquerque, as we’ve done many times before. But, this time instead of just getting up and heading out of town we went on a Breaking Bad Tour around the city. Avid fans should definitely recognize these locations!

Playing on the beach, hiking in the mountains and visits to Hollywood, Ventura & Santa Barbara made for a memorable California adventure.

Long weekends are the perfect excuse to take off on a road trip! We spent our 4th of July weekend partying with the aliens and the wild westerners!

We packed up the car and headed to Mortimer Farms for another Central Arizona Rat Patrol Barn Hunt trial. Although it was quite warm, Mom had some creative ways to keep us cool as we attempted to earn our Novice titles!

The temps were over 110 this weekend, so it's time to escape the heat!

To get away from the summer heat, Mommy thought it would be a good idea to try a water sport!

Look where we are!! Mommy & Daddy are back at the sanctuary for their third time, and we got to come along! 

This past Saturday we spent the day at Mortimer Farms at a Barn Hunt trial. It was Bruiser’s fourth trial, and Pebbles’ first! Mortimer Farms is up in the mountains, so the temps were a lot cooler than the city of Phoenix temps…which meant that the whole pack could go and enjoy the beautiful weather.

The summer before we moved to Phoenix, a wildfire took the lives of 19 elite wildland firefighters on the afternoon of June 30, 2013. We remember hearing about this tragic loss on the national news. When we heard that a state park, hiking trail and memorial had been created to honor these 19 individuals, we knew it was a must see.
