We frequently get compliments on how good we look, and are often asked why we don’t have tear stains or discoloring around our muzzles! Some of it is genetics, but we also believe a major factor is due to our diet. A year and a half ago, we wrote a blog post about how we make our own dog food using grass-fed & free-range meats along with organic vegetables. We continue to learn more and more about healthy ways to feed our pack and felt that it was time for an update. Not a lot has changed, but we like to make sure that the info we share is as up to date as possible!

Thanks to Isle of Dogs, we received a variety of their Brush Sprays to try out. They work great! The Brush Sprays include Coconut Oil, which helps the brush move through our hair more smoothly. It also helps keep our skin and hair moisturized, which is very important after spending lots of time in the pool! And, as an added bonus, each of us have our own scent that makes us smell extra yummy!

The idea is to hide treats in the many layers and let us go to town sniffing out and devouring the yummy treats! 10 to 15 minutes of mental stimulation is worth an hour of physical exercise, so don’t be surprised if we’re ready for a nap, once we’ve tracked down all the treats!
